Steph Figary

I am a freshwater ecologist (PhD) that uses data-intensive methods to answer ecological and applied questions. With a background in public administration (MPA), I am particularly interested in increasing the usability of existing data and pursuing projects with broader impacts.

One example of such work is the Zooplankton as Indicators Group (ZIG) that I co-lead. This group is both developing the largest world-wide dataset of freshwater zooplankton community data and will use it to better understand the use of zooplankton as indicators of ecological condition at a global scale.

Please see my research interests for more information and reach out if you have any questions.
